Sarina and Daryl Fields

On Saturday evening I was asked to help out a fellow photographer that has been a great mentor and friend for me– Grant Oakes.  He asked if I could help shoot this wedding at the Warwick Hotel downtown for just a couple hours during the Reception to assist him.  I was of course delighted at the opportunity!  Sarina and Daryl were a very lovely couple, and though I didn’t get a chance to really get to know them, they were a pleasure to meet and they (well, Sarina…) had a great time dancing!  The Warwick does have a great ballroom were the reception was held–with great views of the City (15th floor)!  Looked great!  Sarina is very into Jazz/1930’s nostalgia, so the wedding was decorated with antique style picture frames encompassing old News articles about Billie Holiday, Lenox Lounge, etc.  It was pretty cool!  Nice job Sarina (and her Wedding Planner–Sara).

Here are a few of my favorite images from the dancing!

These guys were slidin' fools!

The DJ was great-- he had them all dancing to "Thriller"!

Sarina was rockin' it the whole time!

It was easy to see where Sarina got her "moves" from--her Mom was killin' it!

I couldn't resist....
