Beautiful Sunset Family fun!~Colorado Outdoor Family Photography~Estes Park, CO

I was super stoked to do this family session last month!  For a few reasons— one of them being, it is an old friend from school way back when…and he contacted me, even though they live in Oregon!  They were coming here on vacation to visit his parents, and his sister an brother (who now live China with their families!) were going to be here too– so they wanted to do some great pics with all of them!!  So cool I thought!

So, we met up in Estes Park, which is one of my favorite places anyway, and found a perfect location for all of us– and ended up getting the a sunset to die for!  Perfect!

All the little kiddos were so stinkin’ cute– and I had a blast with them!  Even though they were cousins…the 2 little boys and little girl reminded me of me and my brothers when I was little– and one of them actually did a perfect replica face that I used to do as a kid– I couldn’t believe it!!  They all probably didn’t understand why I was laughing so hard….

Thank you guys for letting me capture this meet up with you all!  I look forward to seeing you all again when you are in Colorado again! 😉  Great seeing you again Bryon!

This is the one! I used to do the exact face and hand motion of the dude on the left….pretty hilarious!

  2. These are incredibly gorgeous! My family is traveling to Denver next week to look at houses for our upcoming move. I’d love to drive here and see these views. Could you tell me how to get here? Is it close to Denver? We may be needing some family portraits here this summer 😉

    • Thank you!! So, this is in Estes Park, which is about 1.5 hours or so from Denver. Just check it out on Google maps and You’ll be able to see the best way to get there from wherever you are! 😉 This particular area is near the Stanley Hotel! The whole town is surrounded by ridiculously gorgeous views though- as it’s at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park! If you’ve never been, I highly recommend checking the park out (it’s huge with lots of hikes and lakes and waterfalls, etc). In the Summer you can take Trail Ridge Road from Grand County into Estes Park through the Park…it is gorgeous! It’s not open in the Winter though! Good luck! 😉
