Last of the Fall…..Engagement Photography in Evergreen!~ Three Sisters Park~ Evergreen, CO
Oh man– this one was a nail biter for weather. We literally moved our session up one hour at the last minute in hopes that we could beat a big storm that was moving in….
You see, in Colorado, you could literally be wearing flip-flops and then look out your window to see the Snow falling! Especially in the Fall. Alex and Jimmy really wanted to incorporate the Fall colors in their Engagement photos– and this was literally our last chance. If we were to reschedule– the storm would move in and take all the last of the leaves off the trees (and it did….)– so we became storm troopers!!
We met up at Three Sisters-Alderfer Park in Evergreen– as I had seen some last colors left their recently, and also had the nice contrast of the Green Pines, and a beautiful big Barn! Then we headed down the Canyon back to Denver and stopped for a a few last shots next to the river– (I literally couldn’t see in my camera at this point bc of the snow! ) We only ended up shooting for about an hour– because in the end Mother Nature won out— but that was all we needed to get some super sweet pics of these two lovebirds!! Alex is just so darn cute and petite– especially next to Jimmy (who is pretty tall!)– they looked so cute together! 😉 I absolutely love the way the snow looks falling in the air with the yellow leaves and Alex’s Red Dress! Love.
I am bummed I will not be shooting their Wedding this next summer– as they are getting married in Virginia– but I was so happy to be a part of their journey at least a bit! Congrats to the two of you– Best Wishes!!
