Andrea & Greg ~ Colorado Mountain Wedding Photography~ Estes Park, CO
So, this is one of those couples that I wish I could hangout with now. These two are just ridiculously cute together…and we totally hit it off when we met up this last year to discuss their photography. I was sad to learn that they actually lived in Texas…and we wouldn’t be doing an engagement session (bc I love them…and they’re a great way to get to know the B&G)– mostly because I could just tell how cute they were going to be with each other! I was right……. (scroll down to photos of them together….)
This gorgeous wedding was at The Black Canyon Inn, and Twin Owls Steakhouse in Estes Park, CO. I have shot a handful of weddings there now– the staff is wonderful, and it is just gorgeous! For a colorado backdrop…you really don’t get much better! We were luck enough that night get an amazing sunset too! Bonus! I was so happy to have lots of time with just the two of them also– so that we were able to get multiple locations for shots of just them….after all, that is what the day is about! 😉
The ceremony and night carried on beautifully, with heartfelt toasts (thanks for making me cry….), and awesome moments between parents, and guests that were ready to boogie!! There were a handful of kiddos that I seemed to bond with as well….so naturally I had to take some photos of them.
A few things I loved:
– the way Greg couldn’t keep his hands off her and just ADORED her. seriously.
– the way he teared up when she walked down the aisle (look for the two black and white photos of him…)
– The parents were all so sweet!!! Greg’s dad was killin’ me with his dancing…it was awesome.
– really….all of it….it was a great night.
I was stoked when they wanted to do some fun night-time photos with lights right before we had to leave– so I totally photo-geeked out on them! It was pretty hilarious, and a group effort! Thanks to my second (Kristy), my tripod, the Maid of honor, and her BF (I think!?lol?)– anyway– we managed to get a pretty cool shot with the use of tripods, headlamps, flashes, timers, and glow sticks! Good stuff 😉
It was a beautiful day Andrea and Greg!! Thankful for allowing me to be a part of it!!
Also a big thank you to my Second shooter Kristy Wedel! You rock girl!
