Ali & Tim’s gorgeous fall engagement! ~ Colorado Engagement Photography~ Kenosha Pass, Colorado
I pretty much love these two. You will actually be seeing a post from their wedding (in Georgia!) soon as well….I am so backed up on blogging!
Ali knew what she wanted. I kept asking her when she wanted to do photos, because their Wedding was coming up quickly…and she just knew that she wanted Fall colors. I’m so glad we didn’t do them any earlier…and we took a chance at the colors being just right up on Kenosha Pass. You can’t really know if they are perfect unless you drive up there…so knowing all that I could about surrounding area leaves, typical patterns, etc….we went for it! Woohoo! We hit it just right…I’m betting the leaves were gone in the following days.
I love shooting golden aspens with sunlight because it is just breathtaking with the gold sun lighting…but I have to say that after this shoot…I would be totally happy shooting a stormy gray sky as well. Just as we pulled up to the Pass, the sun went behind the clouds…and the gray sky rolled in. I have to admit I was a bit bummed…but then I looked back at the brilliant Gold leaves against the dark sky…and fell in love.
These two are just so ridiculously cute together…and great in front of the camera (don’t you agree??)– I had a blast with them… and can’t wait to share their absolutely gorgeous Georgia Island wedding with you as well! Keep a lookout!
PS– That pink sky/sunset was totally real. It was totally sick.
