Alyssa & Mike’s Fall Splendor Wedding!~ Colorado Mountain Wedding Photography~ Vail, Colorado
These two. Seriously two of the nicest people I have ever met. After my initial consult with them– I was so excited and hopeful to get to shoot their wedding– they just seemed like such a great couple, and just good people….and you know, sometimes you just want to surround yourself with people like that 😉
We did their Engagement session at Red Rocks last Winter– and had a blast! They are truly adorable together– and Alyssa was a trooper in her high heel boots as I had them literally climbing snowy mountainsides!
As the date of their wedding came closer– I was so stoked– the color in the hills was going to be PERFECT!!! In Fall in Colorado– especially in the mountains– you could either have gorgeous blue skies and killer color– or a blizzard….and there is no telling until about the day before! Well, as you can see– we hit the jackpot. The day was absolutely steller– I was actually hot!! That color too– really!??? It was just amazing.
Everything really fell in to place, and everyone looked fantastic, the venue (Donovan Pavilion, Vail) and day was gorgeous, and fun was had by all!! The ceremony was so beautiful- as Alyssa’s Dad was part of the Choir that sang- Ave Maria. It was so sweet and sentimental. I have a whole bunch of dancing photos from this wedding too– these peeps all loved a good time!
Thanks to all the vendors who made it a great day–and THANK YOU to Alyssa and Mike who let me be a part of it! I wish you all the very best and can’t wait to take pictures of your babies 😉 (yep…I went there….)
A very special thank you to my partner in crime that day– Erin Cady– and although I try to use mostly photos that I take form my camera for blog posts…sometimes I can’t tell which are hers, and which are mine! lol! So there are a handful of photos on this post that are hers as well! Pregnant and all– she put her big girl panties on and rocked it with me this year! Thanks mama!

Stephanie and Jeremy are Married!~ Colorado Mountain Wedding Photography~ Briarwood Inn, Golden, CO
I met these two lovely people not long before their actual wedding day– and I just knew right then that we would have an awesome connection. You just know sometimes.
I was honored to be the one to capture their wedding- and joining of families! I truly love weddings when not only two people become a family, but kiddos are part of the deal as well! It’s beautiful seeing these relationships form, and the excitement from the kids! I just love the photo (below) with Stephanie just tearing up looking at Jeremy getting pics with the kids….it was a beautiful moment of pure happiness.
The wedding took place at the Briarwood Inn in Golden, which is a wonderful small intimate mountain style venue, just outside Golden. I had just been there the week before (see last wedding post!), but it’s amazing how the couple, and the story, truly make it different! It was a very relaxed and beautiful ceremony and reception- and I was honored to be there! Congrats you two!!

Yowza— I am SUPER behind on blogging some seriously beautiful weddings!! It was an awesome Wedding Season this year– and I am so fortunate and lucky to have been a part of so many gorgeous and memorable weddings this year! In may attempt to somewhat catch up on sharing some of these photos– I give you Hazy & Kody! I went a little nuts with this post I think….oops. 😉 Anyway– you’ll see why! These two are freakin’ absolutely adorable together– and I was just in LOVE with Hazy’s style!! Isn’t she stunning!???
They spent their day at Briarwood Inn in Golden! It is a beautiful, quaint little restaurant/venue that is located about 5 minutes from downtown Golden! With the fun Mountain town atmosphere, mountain backdrop, and beautiful summer foliage on the grounds…it was a perfect place for a Colorado Summer wedding! We did have a bit of clouds and rain– but I honestly LOVEd the way the darker clouds played with the light…and one of my favorite photos of the day was the best man holding the umbrella over Kody’s head during the ceremony! Sun is beautiful– but dramatic skies are amazing as well– and there wasn’t enough rain to ruin anything- so it was a win!
Hazy’s antique approach to all the table decor and style of the day was so unique and artistic! Every table had different little antique treasures, scrolls, candles, and flowers….such a creative mind!
With so my any memorable and unique parts of this wedding….the decor, the couple, the weather, etc….my favorite part of the day was when Hazy busted out the most bad-ass sing-along to Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana” at the end of the night. Hands down, awesome. Well played.
